Ciara Miller of Summer House Emerges as Bravo’s Breakout Star, Generating Major Buzz

May 4, 2026

If your social feed is as curated as mine, you’ve probably seen Ciara Miller’s name everywhere lately. I’ve been cheering for the nurse-turned-model since 2023, back when we first crossed paths at a TJ Maxx event. Discovering that this goddess was bringing much-needed representation to the Hamptons as the sole Black cast member on Summer House instantly earned my wholehearted support.

The Cover Star

Recently, Glamour unveiled its April issue with Ciara gracing the cover. In her first interview since all the upheaval, she told the magazine, “It’s one thing to endure hurt behind closed doors. To endure it so publicly adds another layer, and to see what you believed was your life unfold again in season 10 is utterly mind-bending.”

What makes this whole situation so incredibly wild is that Ciara is the quintessential loyalist, the ride-or-die friend we’ve all come to admire. We’ve seen her steadfast devotion across several seasons—from her iconic friendship with Paige DeSorbo, to her bond with Amanda, and to the newly formed “holy trinity” with newcomers Mia Calabrese and KJ Dillard.

In the Glamour feature, she went on to say, “I never would have expected hurt to come from someone like Amanda, who has been a steady presence in my circle for so long. That’s the wildest part.” The Bravo icon added, “I’ve argued with your own husband to advocate for you. I’ve championed you. I’ve tried to be there in different ways for you and to help you recognize your own value. So to be dismissed in such a disrespectful fashion leaves me speechless at times.”

She is, quite literally, the most breathtaking person, both inside and out. Andy Cohen even chimed in, remarking, “The irony here is that Ciara may be the most beautiful person on Bravo, period.”

And trust me, the world is taking note as well. Jon Hamm proclaimed himself a fan on Watch What Happens Live, while whispers circulated that Rihanna hit the unfollow button on Amanda. To top it all off, even NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani joined the conversation on the drama. It’s clear that everyone is paying attention.

In that spirit, I thought it only right to spell out exactly why we’re rooting for her. This is officially a Ciara Miller appreciation post.

The Scamanda Saga

The Los Angeles Times summed up the drama quite neatly. “The Summer House Season 10 arc centers on Amanda Batula dating West Wilson, the ex-boyfriend of her close friend and co-star Ciara Miller. After Amanda’s divorce from Kyle Cooke, her new romance with West—who once broke Ciara’s heart—has sparked major, ‘Scandoval-style’ accusations of breaking girl code and betraying friendships within the Bravo crew.”

Most notably, Ciara opened up this season with a frank conversation among her largely white castmates about the complexities of navigating reality television as a Black woman. The dynamic was further complicated by her relationship with a white man, triggering a fresh wave of online interracial hostility.
