Zhuri Growing Up Fast: Savannah James Shares Sweet Video of Her 11-Year-Old Daughter

May 10, 2026

Playoff pressure and the nonstop chatter about LeBron James didn’t keep Savannah James and her daughter Zhuri from taking over the online spotlight.

While the Lakers icon dominates on the court, the mother-daughter duo are turning heads on social media with a viral clip showing Zhuri all grown up.

Savannah and Zhuri jumped into the viral “Mink Dance Challenge” together.

Rather than delivering the flashy celebrity vibe many expected, the footage offered something sweeter: a real glimpse of a close mother-daughter bond as Zhuri continues to grow.

In the clip, viewers noticed not only how in sync Savannah and Zhuri were, but also how noticeably older — and taller — Zhuri has become since birth.

The 11-year-old confidently imitated her mom’s moves with ease, reflecting the kind of personality and ease that come from growing up in a tight-knit home.

Even though the high-energy Rosari Ray track “Mink” dominates viral feeds, many viewers appreciated that Savannah and Zhuri kept their rendition playful and age-appropriate.

Rather than chasing a trendy moment of dramatic poses, the duo leaned into their natural rapport, and that authenticity only boosted fans’ affection for them.

“Ate it up classy & respectfully,” one TikTok commenter wrote, while another added, “Zuri hit that so effortlessly.”

Others couldn’t help but marvel at how much Zhuri has grown in recent years. “Omg Zhuri almost taller than you mom,” one person noted. “She’s going to be tall like you,” another teased.

As for basketball chatter—it’s impossible to ignore that King James and his Lakers are in the playoff grind—some online remarks threaded basketball into the moment.

“Y’all doing this while King James is in the playoffs,” one user quipped. Another commented, “Savannah, not now. Tell Luka to prep.”

Point guard Luka Dončić has been sidelined for weeks due to an injury.

Nevertheless, most conversations centered on Zhuri’s rapid evolution from the little girl fans met on “All Things Zhuri” into a confident young athlete forging her own path within the James family legacy.

People have watched her grow in real time, and the change has become impossible to miss.

This wasn’t the first occasion Savannah and Zhuri sparked online chatter with their dance moments.

Back in 2025, the duo shared another lighthearted clip that Savannah captioned with a playful nod: “A lil Breezy Bowl practice, before going to Chris Brown’s tour.”

Even the previous year, fans highlighted how naturally the two moved in step together.

Zhuri has also noticeably grown taller over the past several years.

The public first took note during the 2023 ESPY Awards, when the family joined LeBron onstage to celebrate his historic milestone.

Zhuri was eight at the time, but viewers already remarked that she looked tall for her age. Now eleven, she resembles her 5-foot-6 mother in height.

But height isn’t the only reason Zhuri is drawing attention these days. She’s steadily becoming one of the James family’s breakout personalities.

While Bronny and Bryce continue to headline sports headlines, Zhuri has quietly been forging her own identity through volleyball. She also radiates her natural charisma across social media.

LeBron has proudly chronicled many of those moments himself. The devoted dad frequently lights up in clips of Zhuri practicing volleyball at home, cheering from the bleachers.

In one memorable clip, his voice could be heard urging, “Do your thang, munchkin!” as Zhuri shot him a side-eye, delivering a moment that underscored a softer facet of LeBron fans rarely saw in his earlier years.

Savannah’s bond with Zhuri stands apart in a different way. The two increasingly come off as friends, balancing a mother-daughter warmth with a low-key humor that feels genuine rather than performative.

Their videos never feel forced. Even when they dive into viral trends, there’s a natural ease that audiences immediately sense.
