“Summer House” star Mia Calabrese delved into the fashion vault to make her debut at the 2026 AMAs.
Calabrese is one of the fresh faces on the Bravo series, appearing as a close friend to show star Ciara Miller. She joined for season 10, making her on-screen entrance in the episode that premiered on February 10 this year.
Many observers believe she fits seamlessly beside Miller and professional skater KJ Dillard, as she unveiled a contemporary take on a legendary fashion silhouette.

Calabrese drew attention at the 56th annual American Music Awards on Monday night in a look that turned heads.
The 34-year-old channeled Jennifer Lopez, opting for a green silk chiffon gown that echoed the singer’s revealing ensemble at the 2000 Grammys.

Lopez’s dress from the brand’s Spring 2000 collection featured long sleeves and a plunging neckline.

The dress Calabrese wore was actually a reimagined Versace version, according to Today. Even without the original gown, she managed to capture the same iconic energy.
Calabrese stunned on the red carpet, and fans online largely agreed.
“She wears it better,” one supporter remarked. Another noted, “But it’s not the same dress.”
A third person observed, “Something is missing don’t know what.”
Most people immediately zoomed in and noted that Calabrese’s dress has a “totally different structure” than Lopez’s 2000 look.
Lopez’s iconic Versace look was reinterpreted for Versace’s Spring/Summer 2020 show at Milan Fashion Week in 2019, featuring a sleeveless, backless silhouette with embellishments over a jungle print.
Nevertheless, Calabrese appeared flawless in her version, which also embraced sleeveless styling, a flowing skirt, and green leaf motifs.

But not everyone interpreted the moment the same way.
“Mia looks amazing but this is just iconic for JLo can’t be redone,” one observer said.
Another added, “The colors of JLo’s dress are nicer, but the cut of the other one is more flattering in my opinion.”
“Mia’s design needed to be simpler. The rhinestones didn’t help. It doesn’t drape well on her figure. Her chest looks off.”
“I remember when I was a little girl and I saw this dress… I promised myself, if given the chance to wear it someday, I would,” Calabrese told E! News.
In a separate interview, she was asked about the upcoming “Summer House” reunion set to air on Peacock later this week.
She told an Entertainment Tonight reporter that fans have plenty to anticipate.
“All of it. The entire ride was an emotional rollercoaster for all of us,” Calabrese emphasized. “There’s a lot of drama, crying and a little bit of laughter.”
The reporter then inquired about her plans for the summer and who might return.
She gave a shout-out to her best friend Miller, saying, “I love Ciara. She’s one of my closest friends, and that’s what I have to say about that.”
Part 1 of the “Summer House” reunion will air tonight, May 26, at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo. The raw, unfiltered version will stream the following day on Peacock.
