Jennifer Lawrence Stuns, Outshining Jennifer Lopez’s See-Through Dress in a Clip

July 4, 2026

Rarely does the spotlight drift away from Jennifer Lopez, yet that’s exactly what occurred Sunday night at the Golden Globes.

Another Jennifer—Jennifer Lawrence, to be precise—slipped into Lopez’s moment as she barreled onto the scene at the esteemed ceremony. Lopez was a presenter for Best Male Actor in a Musical/Comedy Motion Picture, while Lawrence was nominated for Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama for her role in the horror comedy film “Die My Love.”

In a clip shared by E! News on Sunday, Jan. 11, Lopez was walking back to her seat in a glittery brown lace Jean-Louis Cherrer flesh-colored gown with a mermaid hem.

Although the upload appeared to be a tribute post to Lopez, Lawrence was captured in the frame, revealing a bit more skin than intended and drawing online attention.

As Lopez edged past Lawrence to reach her table, a seated Lawrence was seen helping by pushing the train of Lopez’s dress behind the chairs at their table.

Although the gesture was considerate, it did little to distract fans from the Hunger Games star, who had her floral gown raised up on the chair, exposing the top of her thigh and much of her leg.
