New Video Emerges After NFL Coach’s Wife Was Allegedly Shot Multiple Times by Their Son

Video footage captured the frenetic sequence surrounding a Sunday night shooting that left Mia Bieniemy, the wife of Kansas City Chiefs assistant coach Eric Bieniemy, with serious injuries.

In a series of clips released by Good Morning America, deputies from the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office in Virginia are shown arriving at the Bieniemy family residence after Mia Bieniemy was allegedly shot several times by the couple’s son, Elijah Bieniemy.

Mia Bieniemy was promptly transported to a hospital after officers carried her away, and the footage also records the moment police took Elijah Bieniemy into custody outside the home.

Elijah Bieniemy, 27, is presently detained at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center without the possibility of bail. He faces charges including malicious wounding, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and the discharge of a firearm inside a dwelling.

Mia Bieniemy, who was able to call 911 herself following the incident, was shot in the left forearm and shoulder.
