Summer Walker Sues LVRN Over Fraud, Alleges Hidden Funds and Career Exploitation

October 15, 2026

Summer Walker has been dealing with multiple legal battles surrounding her record deals.

First, Interscope Records reportedly sued the R&B singer for more than $5 million, claiming she owes the label that amount. Now, Walker is turning her attention to LVRN, seeking legal action against the label, according to reports.

The Atlanta-based singer is accusing Love Renaissance Records of fraudulently withholding money and abusing the control it has over her as an artist. Walker signed with LVRN when she was 19 years old. In a 10page complaint, she alleges that the label failed to properly distribute funds from her budget and concealed revenue generated through platforms using her name.

“The LVRN Agreement granted particularly oppressive and extensive rights to defendant, and controlling influence over Walker.”

The complaint also alleges that LVRN sold merchandise featuring Walker’s name and likeness on Amazon without compensating her. Additionally, she claims the label improperly managed her YouTube page, allegedly deleting historical data she considers vital.

Walker is now asking the court to terminate her contract with LVRN and award her compensatory and punitive damages over the alleged contractual breaches.

As the legal dispute unfolds, more details could emerge about Walker’s efforts to separate herself from the label.
