Don’t mess with Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi! A conservative MAGA influencer attempted to corner the trailblazing former House speaker on the Capitol grounds, hurling false statements at her, and quickly learned that Pelosi doesn’t suffer fools gladly.
The influencer, identified as Alison Steinberg, who works for pillow magnate Mike Lindell’s streaming channel Lindell TV, believed she could snag a provocative moment from the veteran California Democrat, who is now in her final term in Congress, and soon discovered she was no match for Pelosi.
“Hi, Congresswoman Pelosi, last time I asked you about January 6, why you turned the National Guard away on January 6, you told me to shut up, and that I was repeating Republican talking points,” Steinberg said as she pressed for a confrontation.

“I’ll tell you to shut up again, because you’re spreading lies right here,” Pelosi shot back.
Steinberg pressed on, trying to claim Pelosi was admitting she blocked the Guard during the Capitol riot on January 6, 2021, but the congresswoman quickly corrected her, implying that Steinberg probably already knew the truth.
A congressional investigation concluded that then-President Donald Trump never called up the National Guard.
“Don’t waste your time or mine on you,” Pelosi warned the right-winger, who then shifted tactics by asking why Pelosi’s filmmaker daughter was filming her on January 6.

“Why don’t you step back,” Pelosi suggested, but Steinberg kept shadowing the lawmaker. “These are simply questions the American people deserve answers to,” she insisted.
“You know what,” Pelosi replied before ending the exchange, “I’m not even sure you’re a real journalist. You work for, like, the Pillow Guy?”
“Actually, I do, and we’re quite proud of that,” the conservative influencer pressed on.
“I don’t regard that as journalism. Mike the Pillow Man isn’t a journalist. I have no reason to engage with you,” an exasperated Pelosi told her.
Then Steinberg sneered, “We want to give you a free pillow.”
To which Pelosi replied, “If you’re recording this, I want people to know you’re not a real journalist. You work for Mike the Pillow Man, and all you do is spread falsehoods. Step away from me.”
Steinberg wouldn’t take the hint, retorting, “You can insult me all you want.”
“Get away from me,” Pelosi insisted again, with more resolve. The scene ended as Pelosi stepped into an elevator.
Social media users lauded Pelosi for her deft handling of the MAGA reporter.
“Nancy dragged her through those Capitol Hill halls and didn’t miss a beat, lol,” quipped a Threads user.
Another commenter hoped Pelosi’s response would energize other Democrats.
“This is the kind of energy we need from Democrats,” wrote Lizlamericaine on Threads.
A Threads user joked, “Nancy was about to throw down.”
The 85-year-old Pelosi plans to retire at the end of her current term in 2027 after four decades representing her San Francisco district. She has been lauded as “the most powerful woman in the history of the United States” for becoming the first woman elected as speaker of the House.
The formidable leader has also been a persistent thorn in the side of President Donald Trump for more than a decade. As the first and only woman to hold the position so far, she helped Democrats block nearly every move Trump attempted during his first term, contributing to his status as a lame-duck president.
