Boxing icon Mike Tyson had to issue a few stern “aht ahts” to a group that got a bit carried away during a meetup, their enthusiasm running ahead of them.
Tyson’s formidable reputation has trailed him for decades, propelled by a quick temper and a string of explosive moments that made even seasoned rivals pause before engaging.
His latest on-camera outburst unfolded right in front of children.

A clip circulating on social media captures the moment a group of teens got a little too hyped.
The heavyweight champion had stopped to show them love and pose for selfies.

Tyson seemed enthused and into the moment until a splash of water came his way,
“STOP! STOP! Just chill out,” Tyson tells the young group.
Those who caught the encounter online came to the 60-year-old’s defense. “Man listen when you get a certain age you can’t take too much of nothing,” one Instagram user wrote.
Others warned that the situation could have gone much differently if Tyson reacted with more anger.
“They playing a dangerous game,” wrote a second person. Another said, “It gets funnier the more you watch cause he was not playing.”
A third person said, “He don’t know the type of fluid it was. He got stressed … don’t blame him.”
The encounter appears in Tyson’s four-part Netflix docuseries, which premiered Oct. 13. It explores his triumphs in the ring and the turbulent personal and professional experiences that shaped his legacy.
Now 60, the boxing legend reflects on his journey from a chaotic upbringing in Brooklyn, New York, to becoming a global superstar after shocking the boxing world by claiming the heavyweight title at just 20 years old.
“Having an opportunity to share my story through the reflective lens of my growth and maturity … will be a challenging journey, yet a very [welcome] one,” Tyson told Netflix.
The lighthearted exchange with the excited teens showcased Tyson’s softer side.
The clip also offers a glimpse of how much Tyson has changed since his younger days, when his explosive temper could turn even the slightest provocation into a what can turn into a violent confrontation.
Two years ago, he participated in a viral TikTok trend with his daughter Milan. His blunt delivery left the 16-year-old staring at him, prompting fans to warn her about her famously short-tempered father.
The backlash forced Milan to later reassur followers she was still alive, joking that her dad didn’t beat her. But some say his actions are justified.
In 2022, Tyson went viral after he lost his patience and repeatedly punched a man aboard a JetBlue flight departing from San Francisco International Airport.
The fellow passenger made hand gestures behind his seat and yelled about his “boss.”The passenger’s friend tells him, “Should have never gave you n—s money,” and the passenger replies, “peasants.”
It’s unclear exactly what made Tyson react in the moment. Although the boxing legend avoided criminal charges, the passenger later sued Tyson and JetBlue over the incident. The case made its way through California’s court system.
According to the Daily Journal. the airline acknowledged they should have better protected Townsend from Tyson.
