RHOA Season 17 Unleashed: Scandalous Vegans, Married Men & a Nigerian-Atlanta Question

March 11, 2026

Brace yourselves, as The Real Housewives of Atlanta is about to hit a high note with a country crooner and her husband, a plant‑based powerhouse, a certain Housewife’s love interest, and the long‑pending clash with the music star.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta is returning for its seventeenth season, and Bravo promises sharper energy, new faces, and familiar feuds when the series comes back on air Sunday, April 5 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. New episodes will be available to stream on Peacock the following day.

As previously announced, the returning Housewives include Porsha Williams, Phaedra Parks, Drew Sidora, Shamea Morton Mwangi, Angela Oakley, and Kelli Ferrell. New additions to the mix are Pinky Cole, the entrepreneur behind Slutty Vegan, and K. Michelle, a Billboard chart‑topping artist who is stepping into country music. Fan favorite Cynthia Bailey also returns in a friend capacity.

#RHOA Season 17 Trailer Features Fresh Faces

Bravo teases that season 17 will be “wilder than ever,” with friendships stretched to their limits and a hotter, bolder, and more unpredictable Atlanta.

In the trailer, it looks like tea time is on the agenda for a group of stunning women who “really tried to be good.”

Yet civility quickly goes out the window as the ladies swap Hennessy for tea while accusations fly about “eating dead people,” an affair with a married man, and nicknames like “Mr. Clean” and “Papa Smurf.”

“And when the tea is poured, that’s when the dolls come alive,” intones the narrator.

K. Michelle makes her first appearance in the trailer, calling Atlanta “Black Hollywood” before Porsha discusses her love triangle. The openly bisexual Housewife is shown cuddled up with Mike Anthony and remarks that she “didn’t expect God to send a 6’5″ tall man with big arms and tattoos.”

Mike may be old news, though, because we also meet Porsha’s new lady love, Sway.

K. Michelle then shares details about life with her longtime partner turned husband, Dr. Kastan Sims. The dentist and the Housewife are seen chatting about the direction of K’s country music career.

“I’m on the biggest country music label, and I’m not sure people grasp the pressure of being the sole Black woman in this space,” says K.

Next up, we meet another newcomer to the group, Pinky Cole.

The $100M Slutty Vegan founder shares her milestones with her husband, fellow restaurateur Big Dave.

The ladies also head to Dallas for a girls’ trip, and Shamea tells her husband that she intends to “own her own things,” while he watches impassively.

Then tensions flare between Porsha and Kelli over alleged infidelity on Kelli’s part.

As for Drew Sidora, her romantic life takes center stage. The singer, estranged from Ralph Pittman, finally introduces viewers to Black, her supposed new boyfriend—yet that development brings its own drama.

K. Michelle casually notes that Black has been sliding into her DMs.

That potential DM drama could explain why confrontations between K and Drew become so explosive.

“Keep my name out your mouth,” warns K. Michelle while being restrained.

“Don’t you ever address me that way!” replies Drew, who’s also being held back.

Porsha enters a new chapter with her divorce finalized and a broadened dating pool. Not one, but two potential love interests join the group chat, and while some sisterly bonds remain tense—like her relationship with Shamea—she’s determined to keep things peachy, or at least try.

Are you prepared to “Drop it with Drew” this season? You should be. Drew Sidora juggles acting, music, and motherhood while cautiously exploring new romances. Although she keeps parts of her dating life private, unexpected clashes threaten her quest for calm.

Shamea returns as a new Housewife, determined to stop playing small and to invest in herself by launching her own rum line. Building an empire proves more demanding than expected, especially with ongoing strain with Porsha and clashes with Drew. Additionally, her fertility journey remains a focal point in season 17.

Also back is Angela, the so‑called “hottest one in the room,” who stays outspoken and holds others to account while navigating grief after her mother’s passing. With husband Charles Oakley beside her, she’s working to mend fractured friendships, quiet explosive rumors, and fortify her own legacy.

Yes, chef! Kelli continues to juggle motherhood, dating, and the opening of a second restaurant location. With her eldest daughter headed off to college and rumors swirling within the group, she’s determined to prove she can handle heat both in the kitchen and in life.

Arguably one of the season’s most anticipated additions, K. Michelle shows she’s not new to Atlanta, but she’s staying true to it. The platinum‑selling artist is sharing her newlywed life with Dr. Kastan Sims and arrives ready to plant fresh roots. Bravo notes that she’s forming bonds and delivering bold opinions while remaining the unapologetic, authentic self fans know and love.

Pink Cole, the Slutty Vegan founder, joins the cast bringing business acumen and bold ambitions. This season, though, may also feature some plant-based conflict.
