RHOB Star Bozoma Saint John Weds Keely Watson in Stunning Ghanaian Ceremony

Former tech executive and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Bozoma St. John tied the knot with Keely Watson in Ghana on Aug. 21, marking a fairy-tale finale to her second opportunity at love.
The newly minted Mr. and Mrs. Watson were celebrated by more than one hundred guests, according to PEOPLE, with celebrations unfolding over several days. Both partners carry Ghanaian roots: St. John was born to Ghanaian parents in the United States and spent part of her childhood there, while Watson obtained dual Ghanaian citizenship in 2025.
Given that both families are large, St. John always anticipated that the celebrations would attract a substantial turnout.
“Because first, you know, we both have very large families. In Ghana, especially, I have a lot of people there, and those are not small weddings,” she told PEOPLE.
St. John’s romance with Watson has prompted many to believe in destiny, especially after she endured the heartbreaking loss of her first husband, Peter St. John, in 2013. Her perseverance through unimaginable grief made her a guiding figure for other widows, and her journey of adjusting to a high-powered career while raising a child was publicly chronicled. Her union with Watson rekindled her faith in divine timing.
“This engagement is my testimony: you can rise from grief, reclaim your joy, and still find a love worthy of your ‘yes,’” she said. “Keely is proof that God’s timing is perfect — and so is His plan. I’m saying yes to life, to love and to the miracle of second chances.”
The globe-trotting couple have styled their journey toward the altar with luxury partnerships, including Minted Weddings, Delta Airlines, Jetset Getaways and NBC. They even kicked off the nuptial phase with a romantic pre-wedding excursion they affectionately dubbed a “Fiancé Moon” to Belgium, where they dined with a private chef and took in Brussels’ charms.
NBC Universal even commemorated the couple with a mural in their likeness, a gesture many interpret as a hint that Bravo may feature their ceremony. If cameras are permitted, viewers can expect a one-of-a-kind celebration.
“I think perhaps the fundamental difference between a Western wedding and a Ghanaian wedding is that in a Western ceremony, it’s two individuals exchanging vows, you know, linked to each other, signing the paperwork, you know? Those are the two people everyone is cheering for and focusing on,” she said. “In a Ghanaian wedding, the bride and groom don’t actually matter at all. It’s the families and the communities that are coming together.”
The Watsons plan to repeat the festivities on Nov. 21 in Los Angeles, launching the second of their scheduled celebrations. It appears guests are in for a memorable, meaningful experience.
“A must-have for me is to make sure that people feel like we’re intentional. You know, not just in inviting people, but also in how they feel when they’re there,” Saint John shared. “You know, this isn’t necessarily a party for us. This is a party for our friends and family and to honor their impact on our relationship, you know? And so that for me is a must-have. I’m very intentional with how I want the guests to feel.”
